Job Title: Asbestos Project Manager Job Reference: 180 Location: Rainham, Essex, covering the south Job Type: Full time Salary: £30-35K Job Outline Our customer is looking for a project manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience within the Asbestos industry, demonstrate self-motivation and be able to use their own initiative. Flexible in their approach to work and willing to work weekends/nights and spend time away from home. Personable and team working attitude to work, coupled with eagerness to learn  To coach/mentor specific staff on Lead Surveyor and Analyst works, signing off for domestics, commercials and R&D site works and all aspects of report writing.  To conduct on site audits of all site work, in order to ensure UKAS quality standards.  Technical review of all reports produced by staff prior to despatch.  Provide excellent classroom based awareness training to internal and external customers, with a view to conducting the P400 courses in the future.  To write specifications for asbestos removal projects.  To project managed asbestos removal contractors.  To project manage asbestos surveys, large projects e.g. local authority, retail chains, including all prestart meetings.  To promote the company’s asbestos management system.  Problem solving and dealing with any issues which may arise on site.
